This theater, acting and singing class is a departure from pure acting classes in that we specifically deal with theater productions along with singing.  Our fun and energized class involves acting lessons, delivering a dialog, supporting cast spotlights as well as solo’s and monologues.  The selections that are practiced in this class are shown at our biannual recitals.

Students practice and perform on our stage in the great room!

Fifth Stone Band Experience
Practice, Record, Perform

Fifth Stone Band Experience offers students the very best environment for playing in a band – Practice, Record, Perform. Students will sign up for the band they wish to be in and rehearse with our quality instructors who will guide them in learning covers or writing originals. Fifth Stone Music School has it’s own professional recording studio where students will get the opportunity to record their songs. The class is designed to give a structured approach to playing in a band. Learn how to ‘listen’ to the other instrumentalists and be sensitive to other musicians playing. You will learn how to work together as a unit to create a sound to call your own at a professional level.

Topics discussed in the class are live stage tips including building confidence to perform in front of a crowd, song structure and arrangement, how each instrument “sits” in a live mix and the thrill of playing in a band.

Fifth Stone Band Experience runs for 12 weeks – nine weeks to tighten up the band, one week to record, one week to prep for your performance and then the concert!

Art Corner

Fifth Stone Music School offers three art classes for children of all ages.  Our Fun With Art class is for children 2 to 3 years of age, Art I involves children ages 4 – 6 years old and Art II incorporates the children ages 7 – 12.  Each class students are given the opportunity to express themselves with various art mediums so students are always working on their next masterpiece.

At the end of every semester we have a FREE Art Gallery Showing in our great hall.  Here students get to show off their art, talk about what they learned and enjoyed most during the session and of course receive the praise of their parents and friends.  What a great way to help build self confidence while expressing themselves at the same time!

Makin’ Music
